A practice for embodied creativity

Creativity,
beyond the
thinking mind.

PlayGrounded uses body, play and experimentation to help us move beyond stuck thinking and discover new possibilities.

01 / THE IDEA

Creativity isn't just about making art.

It's our ability to imagine possibilities and respond to life differently.

When we get stuck, our tendency is often to think harder. PlayGrounded explores another way.

By bringing the body into the creative process, introducing play and experimenting with constraints, we create the conditions for different ideas, perspectives and responses to emerge.

A GROUNDED NOTE

The body is information, not an oracle.

We notice sensation, posture and impulse without pretending they reveal one unquestionable truth.

Not to find the one right answer.
To discover what else might be possible.

02 / THE PRACTICE

A practice of
embodied creativity

Three territories. One invitation: meet what's here, then explore beyond your first response.

01

Body

Move from thinking about an experience to actually sensing it. Notice information and patterns you might otherwise miss.

02

Play

Loosen the need to get things right. Make room for curiosity, ridiculous ideas and unexpected connections.

03

Possibility

Explore beyond the familiar. Generate alternatives before deciding what is practical, resonant or ready to try.

03 / WAYS TO PLAYGROUND

Come with a question.
Leave with movement.

Personal exploration, public workshops and creative work with teams, all shaped by the same practice.

PLAYFUL ENOUGH TO IMAGINE.

GROUNDED ENOUGH TO RESPOND.
